Ahhh! Happy Feet
One thing I noticed about standing on my feet all day is that when I get home my feet hurt. I didn't notice it so much at school but probably because the kitchen is WAY bigger and I did a lot of walking. The kitchen at Vinoteca could almost fit inside the walk in cooler at school. It's small. So not much walking, more standing.
I think losing a few pounds would help the situation but since that is not going to happen overnight, I splurged and got myself a foot spa. It's a Dr. Scholl's Remote Control foot spa. I had a coupon for Sears and they only had about 4 to choose from. Anyway, my feet love it!

I had the same problem when I worked at Future Shop. There was only a tiny little space behind the cash register and I couldn't walk around the store. I never got rid of the achy feet, but my Blundstone's were more comfortable than other shoes. Blundstone's are expensive, but DAMN they're nice to stand around in!

I vote for Dr Marten's when standing around a lot. Especially the combat soles--they're extra bouncy. Then again, I've never tried Blundstone's, so I could change my mind.

Yes, I love my Doc's! I think I'd be in a lot worse shape with them for sure. But boy, those cheap odour eaters don't last long . . .
