Just Tell Me Where It Is Already!

Arrghh!! I sent some documents to Pakistan on Monday via Canada Post/Purolator, it's supposed to take 4 to 6 days. I can say they are updating their tracking more often than when I sent a Christmas gift to the States via Expedited but sheesh, it makes no sense.

From the Canada Post site:

The Purolator site is almost as bad, except it's more up to date:

So, where exactly is the envelope? I know it's on the other side of the world because it's still the 12th here. Other than that, I have no idea. I guess I wait for delivery. . .

Update:
I've been watching since yesterday and their have been a few more "Item is enroute to the Delivery Office" and "Item is enroute to the Sortation Plant". I figured it's gotta be delivered soon, though probably not today since it's already Sunday in Pakistan. I just looked at the Purolator site and all it says is to call the 1-888 #, no tracking chart or anything. I call, type in the tracking # and the message says I'm being forwarded to the call centre, which is of course closed. sigh. Still no idea where in the world the envelope is. //sigh//

Update #2:
It's arrived! And within the 4 to 6 days advertised. It was delivered last night, or this morning Pakistan time. No, I'm not just relying on those stupid websites //grrr//, I've heard from the recipient that it arrived as well. Phew! Next time, should I need a next time, I'll spend the big bucks and use DHL or FedEx.

  • Bummer, can you do it again?

Can you tell why those huge spaces are appearing between the text and the tables? It's bugging me and I can't seem to fix it. . .

  • I asked if the sending of things to Pakistan was related to the lovely-eyed man you blogged about earlier.

I'm not sure where the spaces are coming from. There's a div tag between the text and one of the tables, but not the other, so I don't think that's it. Maybe blogger just has a hard time with tables. Have you checked the blogger help or whatever they call it?

  • It must just hate tables. I tried the div tag to see if it helped. It didn't. Maybe I'll just edit out the table.

Yes, the couriering (is that a word?) to Pakistan had much to with the lovely eyed man. //grin// He is applying for a visa to come for a visit and I had to send a notarized letter of invitation for him to submit with his application. Being that the Pakistani postal system is not the most reliable (kind of like Canada Post!) I decided to courier so I could have tracking.
