September 28 is the big day. Selena & I, along with my boss and a few coworkers will be shedding our locks for Cops for Cancer. So send money. Lots of it. I'm not doing this for a few measly bucks! Tax deductible for donations over $10.
Credit cards can be used by wading through the Canadian Cancer Society website. Then let us know how much so we can add it to the tally. Cheques, made out to the Canadian Cancer Society, can be sent care of the restaurant - Bistro 161, 161 Kenneth St, Duncan, BC, V9L 1N5.
If you happen to be nearby, any day you can get a free dessert for a donation of $10 or more. Chris has made his mother's coconut, raisin, rum cake by popular demand. It's delicious! And that is coming from someone who dislikes both raisins and shredded coconut //wink//. We are also having a reception of sorts on the 28th, that evening if you buy a drink, donations over $20 net a free appetizer and a ringside seat. I know one of the appies will be spring roll (either lentil or pulled spiced beef). Yummy!!
